The Riebke Shiraz
Wine
Teusner The Riebke Shiraz is sourced from old, low yielding vines at Ebenezer in the northern Barossa Valley, cared for by the Riebke family for six successive generations.
The wine begins fermentation in open stainless steel tanks, where it remains on skins for one week receiving aeration to soften the tannins. It is then pressed, with some parcels completing the ferment in oak.
Maturation takes place over 12 months in seasoned oak barrels, ensuring the fruit takes centre stage.
Crimson purple, Teusner The Riebke Shiraz has abundant black fruits, warm spices and plush tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
